Greetings card wholesaler closed due to loss of major customer and internet competition
Greetings cards wholesaler Cards Galore Direct Ltd has closed, with the eight staff being made redundant, following the loss of a major customer in 2011 and the increase of internet competition.
There is a minimal amount of assets remaining, although there is no return to creditors expected. The company has approximately 100 trade creditors, owed a total of around £70,000.
The company will be placed into liquidation on Monday 16 January.
